🏥 Cwmtawe Medical Group was formed in 2018 following the merger of three practices: Clydach Primary Care Centre, Sway Road Surgery and New Cross Surgery.

We are a large training practice caring for approximately 26,000 patients across the Swansea Valley.

We regularly host GP registrars as part of their specialist training. These doctors of the future rotate through the practice annually, and we have a long-standing commitment to nurturing the next generation of clinicians in the Swansea Valley.

Our clinicians bring a wide range of specialist skills, including:

• Respiratory medicine
• Diabetes care
• Sexual health
• Musculoskeletal medicine

As part of the Cwmtawe Cluster, we are at the forefront of transforming primary care in Wales through national and local transformation programmes.

Our main site in Clydach operates from a modern, purpose-built premises owned by Primary Health Properties. We also provide services from our two surgeries in Morriston.

All sites work closely with attached community teams, including district nurses and health visitors, to ensure joined-up, high-quality care.
